bahunātra kimuktena saṅkṣepāc chṛṇu pāṇḍava | prayāhi śīghraṁ govinda sūtaputra-jighāṁsayā ||
The verse emphasizes disciplined urgency: when duty requires confronting a dangerous adversary, one should avoid needless talk and act with clear resolve, aligning effort with the demands of dharma in a wartime context.
Sañjaya reports an exhortation addressed to the Pāṇḍava (implicitly Arjuna) and to Govinda (Kṛṣṇa as charioteer/guide): they should advance immediately with the intention of killing the sūtaputra, i.e., Karṇa, indicating the pressing tactical and moral necessity of engaging him without delay.
