Shloka 24

आ देवात्‌ त्वत्समं तेषां न पश्यामि शृणोमि च । कुन्तीकुमार! इस भूमण्डलपर दूसरा कोई पुरुष तुम्हारे समान योद्धा नहीं है। यहाँसे देवलोकतक धनुष धारण करनेवाले जो कोई भी रणदुर्मद क्षत्रिय हैं, उनमेंसे किसीको भी मैं तुम्हारे समान न तो देखता हूँ और न सुनता ही हूँ ।।

ā devāt tvat-samaṁ teṣāṁ na paśyāmi śṛṇomi ca | kuntīkumāra! iha bhūmaṇḍale dvitīyo na kaścid api puruṣas tvat-samaḥ yoddhā | iha devalokāntaṁ yāvat dhanur-dhāriṇaḥ ye kecid raṇa-durmadāḥ kṣatriyās teṣāṁ madhye tvat-samaṁ na paśyāmi na śṛṇomi ca ||

सञ्जय उवाच— कुन्तीकुमार! पृथिव्याः आरभ्य देवलोकपर्यन्तं धनुर्धराणां युद्धदुर्मदानां मध्ये त्वत्समं न पश्यामि न शृणोमि च। ब्रह्मणा प्रजाः सृष्टाः, तेनैव महद्धनुः गाण्डीवमपि निर्मितम्; येन त्वं युध्यसे पार्थ, तस्मात् त्वत्समो नास्ति।
