नानावर्णा रथे भान्ति श्व॒सनेन प्रकम्पिता: । रथोंकी ध्वजाओंपर सोने और चाँदीके तारोंसे खचित वस्त्रोंकी बनी हुई शिल्पियोंद्वारा निर्मित बहुरंगी पताकाएँ हवाके झोंकेसे हिलती हुई कैसी शोभा पा रही हैं
nānāvarṇā rathe bhānti śvasanena prakampitāḥ |
संजय उवाच—रथेषु नानावर्णाः पताकाः शोभन्ते, श्वसनेन प्रकम्पिताः। शिल्पिभिः सुकृताः सुवर्ण-रजततन्तुभिः खचितवस्त्रनिर्मिताः, ता बहुरूपाः केतवो वायुवेगेन दोलायमानाः परमां शोभां वहन्ति।
