तदेतद्‌ वै समालोक्य प्रत्यमित्रं महद्‌ बलम्‌ । यथा नाभिभवत्यस्मांस्तथा नीतिर्विधीयताम्‌,“अत: इस विशाल शत्रुसेनाकी ओर देखकर तुम ऐसी नीतिका निर्माण करो, जिससे वह हमें परास्त न कर सके”

tad etad vai samālokya pratyamitraṃ mahad balam | yathā nābhibhavaty asmāṃs tathā nītir vidhīyatām ||
