अधर्मो हि कृतस्तीव्र: कथं स्यादफलश्रिरम् । “तुम्हारे पापकर्मका फल तुम्हें शीघ्र ही प्राप्त होगा। तुमलोगोंने घोर पाप किया है। उसका फल मिलनेमें अधिक विलम्ब कैसे हो सकता है?
Transliteration
adharmo hi kṛtas tīvraḥ kathaṃ syād aphalaśriyam |
Translation
सञ्जय उवाच—अधर्मो हि कृतस्तीव्रः कथं स्यादफलश्रिरम् । पापकर्मफलप्राप्तिर्भविष्यति न चिरादिव । घोरं पापं कृतं यूयैः, तस्य पाके कथं चिरम् ॥
