Night Vigil and Kṛṣṇa’s Instructions to Dāruka (निशि प्रजागरः—दारुकानुशासनम्)
यो भुक्त्वेमां वसुमतीं म्लेच्छाटविकवर्जिताम् । यस्मै ववर्ष पर्जन्यो हिरण्यं परिवत्सरान्,उन्होंने इस पृथ्वीको म्लेच्छों तथा तस्करोंसे रहित करके इसका उपभोग किया और धर्माचरणद्वारा देवताओंकी आराधना तथा बाणोंद्वारा शत्रुओंपर विजय करते हुए अपने गुणोंसे समस्त प्राणियोंका मनोरंजन किया था, उनके लिये मेघने अनेक वर्षोतक सुवर्णकी वर्षा की थी
