तथाडूुदैर्निपतितैव्यराजत वसुंधरा । प्रावृट्काले महाराज विद्युदूभिरिव तोयद:,महाराज! वीरोंके गिरे हुए चमकीले बाजूबन्दोंसे वहाँकी भूमि वैसी ही शोभा पा रही थी, जैसे वर्षाकालमें बिजलियोंसे मेघ प्रकाशित होता है
sañjaya uvāca | tathāḍūḍair nipatitair vyarājata vasuṃdharā | prāvṛṭ-kāle mahārāja vidyudbhir iva toyadaḥ ||
सञ्जय उवाच—महाराज! पतितैः स्फुरद्भुजभूषणैः वसुन्धरा व्यराजत; यथा प्रावृट्काले तोयदः विद्युद्भिरिव प्रकाश्यते।
