Bhīmasena and Alāyudha: Night Engagement and Command Responses

The verse highlights the moral weight of wrongdoing: when one becomes blameworthy before society (sarvaloka), inner fatigue and remorse arise, driving the person to seek guidance from an authority figure (here, the teacher Droṇa).
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that his son, mentally worn down by his thoughts and conscious of his culpability, goes to Droṇa to meet him—implying a turn toward counsel and strategy amid the unfolding war.
