एवं स निहतो राजन् पार्थेनामिततेजसा । अक्षौहिणीरष्ट हत्वा जामाता तव सैन्धव:,राजन! इस प्रकार अमित तेजस्वी अर्जुनने आपकी आठ अक्षौहिणी सेनाओंके संहारकी पूर्ति करके आपके दामाद सिंधुराज जयद्रथको मार डाला
evaṁ sa nihato rājan pārthenāmitatejasā | akṣauhiṇīr aṣṭa hatvā jāmātā tava saindhavaḥ ||
