अत्रे: पुत्रो&भवत् सोम: सोमस्य तु बुध: स्मृतः । बुधस्यैको महेन्द्रा भ: पुत्र आसीत् पुरूरवा:,महर्षि अत्रिके पुत्र सोम हुए। सोमके पुत्र बुध माने गये हैं। बुधके एक ही पुत्र हुआ पुरूरवा, जो देवराज इन्द्रके समान तेजस्वी था
atreḥ putro 'bhavat somaḥ, somasya tu budhaḥ smṛtaḥ | budhasyaiko mahendrābhaḥ putra āsīt purūravāḥ ||
