त॑ भीमसेनो नामृष्यदवमानममर्षण: । स तस्मै व्यसृजत् तूर्ण शरवर्षममित्रहा,शत्रुओंका नाश करनेवाले अमर्षशील भीमसेन कर्णद्वारा दिखायी जानेवाली कोमलता या ढिलाईको अपने लिये अपमान समझकर उसे सह न सके। अतः उन्होंने भी तुरंत ही उसपर बाणोंकी वर्षा प्रारम्भ कर दी
taṁ bhīmaseno nāmṛṣyad avamānam amarṣaṇaḥ | sa tasmai vyasṛjat tūrṇaṁ śaravarṣam amitrahā ||
