यत्‌ कृत्यं सिन्धुराजस्य प्राप्तकालमनन्तरम्‌ । तत्‌ संविधीयतां क्षिप्रं साधु संचिन्त्य नो द्विज,“ब्रह्म! इस समय सिंधुराजकी रक्षाके लिये तुरंत करनेयोग्य जो कार्य हमारे सामने प्राप्त है, उसे अच्छी तरह सोच-विचारकर शीघ्र सम्पन्न कीजिये”

sañjaya uvāca | yat kṛtyaṃ sindhurājasya prāptakālam anantaram | tat saṃvidhīyatāṃ kṣipraṃ sādhu saṃcintya no dvija ||
