Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
तौ दृष्टवा प्रविविक्षन्ती तव सेनामरिंदमौ । संयत्तास्तावका: सर्वे तस्थुद्रोणपुरोगमा:,उन दोनों शत्रुदमन वीरोंको आपकी सेनामें प्रवेश करनेके लिये इच्छुक देख ट्रोणाचार्य आदि आपके सारे सैनिक सावधान होकर खड़े हो गये
tau dṛṣṭvā pravivikṣantī tava senām ariṃdamau | saṃyattās tāvakāḥ sarve tasthur droṇapurogamāḥ ||
तौ दृष्ट्वा प्रविविक्षन्ती तव सेनामरिंदमौ । संयत्तास्तावकाः सर्वे तस्थुद्रोणपुरोगमाः ॥
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights a martial-ethical principle: when formidable opponents act with clear intent, a leader must ensure collective discipline and readiness. Courage must be met with vigilance; leadership (Droṇa at the front) organizes fear into ordered preparedness.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that two powerful warriors are attempting to break into the Kaurava host. In response, the entire Kaurava force, led by Droṇa, stands poised and armed, ready to resist their entry.
