यथोपदिष्टमाचार्य: कार्य: पजचगुणो रथ: । “इस संग्राममें नाना प्रकारके आयुधोंका उसी प्रकार संग्रह कर लेना चाहिये, जैसा कि आचार्योने उपदेश किया है। रथपर रखी जानेवाली युद्धसामग्री पहलेसे पाँचगुनी कर देनी चाहिये
yathopadiṣṭam ācāryaḥ kāryaḥ pañcaguṇo rathaḥ |
सञ्जय उवाच—आचार्योपदिष्टमेव रथः कार्यः; अस्मिन् संग्रामे नानाविधान्यायुधानि तथैव संगृह्य यथाक्रमं विन्यस्यन्ताम्, रथस्थं युद्धोपकरणं च पूर्वमेव पञ्चगुणं क्रियताम्।
