इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि ध्वजवर्णने पजञ्चाधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi dhvajavarṇane pañcādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि ध्वजवर्णने पञ्चाधिकशततमोऽध्यायः।
संजय उवाच
As a colophon, the verse does not teach through direct instruction but through framing: it situates the events within an ethical epic record, reminding the reader that war narratives are preserved with attention to meaning, consequence, and the larger arc of dharma.
This is the chapter-ending marker stating that the one-hundred-and-fifth chapter—focused on describing battle banners—concludes within the Droṇa Parva, in the sub-section dealing with Jayadratha’s slaying.
