भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय 54: फल्गुन-प्रतिरोधः, सौबली-व्यूह-विध्वंसः, दुर्योधन-भीष्म-संवादः
अब्रवीत् तत्र गोविन्दो हर्षयन् सर्वपाण्डवान् | ऐसा कहकर महामना युधिष्ठिर शोकसे व्याकुल-चित्त हो बहुत देरतक मनको अन्तर्मुख करके ध्यानमग्न बैठे रहे। युधिष्ठिरको शोकसे आतुर और दु:खसे व्यथितचित्त जानकर गोविन्दने समस्त पाण्डवोंका हर्ष बढ़ाते हुए कहा--
sañjaya uvāca | abravīt tatra govindo harṣayan sarvapāṇḍavān |
सञ्जय उवाच— तत्र गोविन्दोऽब्रवीत् सर्वपाण्डवान् हर्षयन् । महामना युधिष्ठिरः शोकाकुलचित्तो दीर्घकालं मनोऽन्तर्मुखं कृत्वा ध्यानमग्न आसीत्; तं शोकातुरं दुःखव्यथितं ज्ञात्वा गोविन्दः पाण्डवान् धर्मधैर्ये प्रतिष्ठापयितुं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥
