Droṇa–Dhṛṣṭadyumna-yuddha (द्रोण-धृष्टद्युम्न-युद्धम्) — Tactical duel and allied interventions
तदपास्य भनुश्कछिन्न॑ कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्िर: । अन्यत् कार्मुकमादाय वेगवद् बलवत्तरम्
tad apāsya dhanuṣka-chinnaṁ kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | anyat kārmukam ādāya vegavad balavattaram |
सञ्जय उवाच—तद् अपास्य छिन्नं धनुः कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः । अन्यत् कार्मुकम् आदाय वेगवद् बलवत्तरम् ॥ शल्यं मद्राधिपं राजानं तीक्ष्णैः संनतपर्वभिः शरैः समन्तात् छादयामास । ततः क्रोधसमाविष्टः प्रोवाच—“तिष्ठ तिष्ठ” इति ॥
