Educational Q&A

Insatiable desire, when joined with hypocrisy, pride, and ego-intoxication, leads to delusion; from that delusion people adopt false views and corrupt practices, resulting in ethically degraded conduct.

Arjuna is describing a type of misguided person: one who clings to endless cravings and, under delusion, embraces wrong doctrines and impure observances, thereby moving through the world in a morally distorted way.
