उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
स्त्रिय: काश्रित्प्रजायन्ते चतस्र: पजच कन्यका: । जातमात्राश्च नृत्यन्ति गायन्ति च हसन्ति च
striyaḥ kāścid prajāyante catasraḥ pañca kanyakāḥ | jātamātrāś ca nṛtyanti gāyanti ca hasanti ca ||
स्त्रियः काश्चित् सहैव चतस्रः पञ्च वा कन्यकाः प्रसूयन्ते। जातमात्राश्च ताः कन्याः नृत्यन्ति, गायन्ति, हसन्ति च।
