ततोअ<स्यानुचरान्‌ हत्वा सर्वान्‌ रणविभागवित्‌ | भीष्ममेवाभिदुद्राव बीभत्सुरपराजित:,तत्पश्चात्‌ युद्धविभागके अच्छे ज्ञाता और किसीसे भी परास्त न होनेवाले अर्जुनने भीष्मके पीछे चलनेवाले समस्त योद्धाओंको मारकर स्वयं भी भीष्मपर ही धावा किया
