संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the relativity of worldly prestige: even the sun-and-moon-like splendor of kings appears insignificant before the visible emblems of heroic prowess. In the epic’s ethical frame, status is tested and re-ranked in the crucible of dharma-yuddha and valor.
Sanjaya describes a battlefield assembly where many kings are present. Their collective brilliance is visually eclipsed by the dazzling armlets and crowns of the foremost warriors, emphasizing the dominance of the leading heroes in that moment.
