विव्यधुर्निशितैर्बाणै रुक्मपुड्खैरजिद्दागै: । इसी प्रकार अन्य शूरवीर महारथियोंने भीमसेन और अर्जुनको सुवर्णपंखयुक्त, सीधे जानेवाले पैने बाणोंद्वारा बींध डाला

Transliteration

vivyadhur niśitair bāṇai rukmapuḍkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |

Translation

सञ्जय उवाच—ते निशितैर्बाणै रुक्मपुङ्खैरजिद्दागैः सीधुगामिभिः भीमसेनमर्जुनं च विव्यधुः। एवं रणक्रोधेऽपि महारथयः परस्परं शस्त्रबलस्य निरन्तरं प्रहारं प्राप्नुवन्ति, धैर्येण च सहनशीलतया च शौर्यं परीक्ष्यते।
