यथापरं यथायोगं न च स्यात् कस्यचित् पुनः । वे नियम इस प्रकार हैं--चालू युद्धके बंद होनेपर संध्याकालमें हम सब लोगोंमें परस्पर प्रेम बना रहे। उस समय पुनः किसीका किसीके साथ शत्रुतापूर्ण अयोग्य बर्ताव नहीं होना चाहिये
yathāparaṃ yathāyogaṃ na ca syāt kasyacit punaḥ |
वैशम्पायन उवाच—यथापरं यथायोगं प्रवर्ततां; अहनि युद्धे निवृत्ते संध्याकाले सर्वेषां परस्परं सौहार्दं भवतु। तस्मिन्काले पुनः कस्यचित् कस्यचित् प्रति वैरभावेनानुचितो व्यवहारो न कर्तव्यः।
