Nakula’s Declaration and the Uñchavṛtti Brāhmaṇa’s Superior Merit (Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 92)
ततो यज्ञसमाप्तौ तान् विससर्ज महामुनीन् | अगस्त्य: परमप्रीत: पूजयित्वा यथाविधि,तदनन्तर यज्ञ समाप्त होनेपर अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुए अगस्त्यजीने उन महामुनियोंकी विधिवत् पूजा करके सबको विदा कर दिया
tato yajñasamāptau tān visasarja mahāmunīn | agastyaḥ paramaprītaḥ pūjayitvā yathāvidhi ||
ततो यज्ञसमाप्तौ तान् विससर्ज महामुनीन्। अगस्त्यः परमप्रीतः पूजयित्वा यथाविधि॥
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic completion of a sacred undertaking: after a rite ends, one should honor participants properly and conclude matters with gratitude and orderly leave-taking, not abrupt dismissal.
After the sacrifice is finished, Agastya—very pleased—performs due honors for the assembled great sages and then formally sends them off.
