उज्छं मूलं फलं शाकमुदपात्रं तपोधना: । दानं विभवतो दत्त्वा नरा: स्वर्यान्ति धार्मिका:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | ucchaṁ mūlaṁ phalaṁ śākam udapātraṁ tapodhanāḥ | dānaṁ vibhavato dattvā narāḥ svaryānti dhārmikāḥ ||
वैशम्पायन उवाच—तपोधन! उज्झं मूलं फलं शाकमुदपात्रं च यथाविभवतो दत्त्वा धार्मिका नरा: स्वर्गं यान्ति।
