गन्धर्वा गीतकुशला नृत्येषु च विशारदा: । रमयन्ति सम तान्‌ विप्रान्‌ यज्ञकर्मान्तरेषु वै,नारद, महातेजस्वी तुम्बुरु, विश्वावसु, चित्रसेन तथा अन्य संगीतकलाकोविद, गाननिपुण एवं नृत्यविशारद गन्धर्व प्रतिदिन यज्ञकार्यके बीच-बीचमें समय मिलनेपर अपनी नाच-गानकी कलाओंद्वारा उन ब्राह्मणोंका मनोरंजन करते थे

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Gandharvā gītakuśalā nṛtyeṣu ca viśāradāḥ | ramayanti sma tān viprān yajñakarmāntareṣu vai ||
