बृहस्पतिस्तु तां श्रुत्वा मरुत्तस्य महीपते: । समृद्धिमतिदेवेभ्य: संतापमकरोद्‌ भूशम्‌,उधर बृहस्पतिने जब सुना कि राजा मरुत्तको देवताओंसे भी बढ़कर सम्पत्ति प्राप्त हुई है, तब उन्हें बड़ा दुःख हुआ

Bṛhaspatistu tāṃ śrutvā Maruttasya mahīpateḥ | samṛddhim atidevebhyaḥ santāpam akarod bhūśam ||
