Kṛṣṇa’s Departure, Auspicious Omens, and the Opening of the Uttaṅka Dialogue
smarethāś cāpi māṁ nityaṁ bhīmaṁ ca balināṁ varam | phālgunaṁ sahadevaṁ ca nakulaṁ caiva mānada ||
The verse highlights loyal remembrance and mutual regard between righteous allies: even after great events, one should sustain bonds through gratitude, respect, and mindful recollection—especially toward those who uphold dharma together.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses Kṛṣṇa as he is about to return to Dvārakā, requesting that Kṛṣṇa keep the Pāṇḍavas in his constant remembrance—naming himself and his brothers (Bhīma, Arjuna, Sahadeva, Nakula).
