Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
हतपुत्रस्य संग्रामे दानानि ददत: सदा । ज्ञातिसम्बन्धिमित्राणां भ्रातृणां स््वजनस्यथ च
hataputrasya saṅgrāme dānāni dadataḥ sadā | jñātisambandhimitrāṇāṃ bhrātṝṇāṃ svajanasya ca ||
वैशम्पायन उवाच—संग्रामे हतपुत्रस्य धृतराष्ट्रस्य भूपतेः। ज्ञाति-सम्बन्धि-मित्राणां भ्रातॄणां स्वजनस्य च॥ निमित्तं सदा दानानि प्रववृते महात्मनः, शोकसन्तप्तहृदयोऽपि धर्ममार्गे स्थितः।
