युधिछिर उवाच नमां प्रीणयते राज्यं त्वय्येवं दु:खिते नृप । धिड्मामस्तु सुदुर्बुद्धि राज्यसक्तं प्रमादिनम्‌,युधिष्ठिरने कहा--महाराज! आप यहाँ रहकर इस प्रकार दुःख उठा रहे थे और मुझे इसकी जानकारी न हो सकी, इसलिये अब यह राज्य मुझे प्रसन्न नहीं रख सकता। हाय! मेरी बुद्धि कितनी खराब है? मुझ-जैसे प्रमादी और राज्यासक्त पुरुषको धिक्कार है
