Sorrow is alleviated not merely by power or possession but through the grace and guidance of a spiritually venerable person; ethical and inner steadiness arise when one receives such compassionate support.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana reports that, due to the revered figure’s favor, the king’s grief has been dispelled—marking a moment of consolation and moral-spiritual reassurance within the Ashramavāsika context.
