वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even after the war and amid the forest-ascetic setting, Yudhiṣṭhira upholds dharma through respectful accountability: he returns and reports fully to the elder king. The verse highlights ethical governance through truthfulness, deference, and transparent communication.
After being addressed (in context, following a message such as an unseen/sky-voice or instruction), Yudhiṣṭhira turns back and goes to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, informing him of everything that was said or occurred.
