कुन्त्याः वनगमननिश्चयः — Kuntī’s Resolve to Depart for the Forest
अर्जुनश्व महातेजा रथेनादित्यवर्चसा | वशी श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्ति्दिव्येनान्वगमन्नूपम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | arjunaś ca mahātejā rathenādityavarcasaḥ | vaśī śvetair hayair yuktaṃ divyenānugamannṛpam ||
वैशम्पायन उवाच । अर्जुनश्च महातेजा रथेनादित्यवर्चसा । वशी श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्तैर्दिव्येनान्वगमन्नृपम् ॥
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Power is ethically grounded when governed by self-control (vaśī) and expressed as loyal service to rightful leadership; Arjuna’s splendor is paired with restraint and dutiful following.
Arjuna, shining with great brilliance, rides a divine, sun-like chariot yoked with white horses and proceeds behind the king (understood as Yudhiṣṭhira), accompanying him as events move toward the forest-dwelling phase.
