Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
उत्तिष्ठ ध्वमित: क्षिप्रं तानवाप्लुत वै द्विजा:
uttiṣṭha dhvam itaḥ kṣipraṃ tān avāpluta vai dvijāḥ
उत्तिष्ठध्वमितः क्षिप्रं तानवाप्लुत वै द्विजाः॥
शुन:सख उवाच
Promptness in righteous conduct: those responsible for dharma should not delay in acts of purification and disciplined observance, since inner and outer cleanliness support ethical steadiness.
Śunaḥśakha addresses a group of brāhmaṇas, commanding them to get up from their place and quickly perform bathing/ablution, indicating an immediate need for ritual readiness or purification before the next action.
