Educational Q&A

Bhīṣma highlights that the highest exemplars are those recognized for yogic mastery and realized wisdom; ethical authority is grounded in inner discipline and spiritual attainment as preserved by tradition.

In his instruction to the Kuru heir, Bhīṣma lists renowned sages—Aṅgiras, Kratu, and Kaśyapa—affirming them as ‘great lords of yoga’ to support his broader discourse on dharma and exemplary conduct.
