कृत्वाग्नौकरणं पूर्व मन्त्रपूर्व तपोधन । ततो5ग्नये5थ सोमाय वरुणाय च नित्यश:

Transliteration

kṛtvāgnaukaraṇaṃ pūrvaṃ mantrapūrva tapodhana | tato 'gnaye 'tha somāya varuṇāya ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

भीष्म उवाच—तपोधन, मन्त्रपूर्वं पूर्वमग्नौकरणं कृत्वा ततः पश्चान्नित्यशोऽग्नये सोमाय वरुणाय च यथाविधि भागान् समर्पयेत्; एवं धर्मस्याधारभूतान् देवान् क्रमशः पूजयन् यज्ञकर्म प्रवर्तयेत्।
