Śrāddha-utpatti and Nivāpa–Agni Precedence (श्राद्धोत्पत्तिः—निवापेऽग्निपूर्वकत्वम्)

बहुकुप्यकृतं वित्तं विन्दते रेवतीं श्रित: । अश्रिनीष्वश्वान्‌ विन्देत भरणीष्वायुरुत्तमम्‌

bhīṣma uvāca | bahukupyākṛtaṁ vittaṁ vindate revatīṁ śritaḥ | aśrinīṣv aśvān vindet bharaṇīṣv āyur uttamam |

भीष्म उवाच— रेवतीं श्रितः श्राद्धं कुर्वन् बहुकुप्यकृतं वित्तं विन्दते। अश्विनीषु श्राद्धकृत् अश्वान् विन्देत; भरणीषु च कृत्वा उत्तममायुर्विन्दति॥
