Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

तद्‌ वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान्‌ | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान्‌ नागानथ च पक्षिण:,वही समस्त देवताओं, दानवों, राक्षसों, मनुष्यों, गन्धर्वों, नागों तथा पक्षियोंको लाँधकर अपने अचूक अस्त्र-शक्तिके द्वारा उस असुरका वध कर डालेगा, जिससे तुम्हें भय उत्पन्न हुआ है। दूसरे जो देवशत्रु हैं, उनका भी वह संहार कर डालेगा

tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||

भीष्म उवाच— स तु सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान्, मानुषान् गन्धर्वान् नागान् पक्षिणश्च; अमोघास्त्रबलात् तं असुरं हनिष्यति यतो वः भयमुत्पन्नम्, अन्यांश्च सुरशत्रून् संहरिष्यति।
