Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
जग्राहांगिरसं देव: शिखी तस्माद्भधुताशन: । तस्मादांगिरसा ज्ञेया: सर्व एव तदन्वया:
jagrāhāṅgirasaṃ devaḥ śikhī tasmād badhutāśanaḥ | tasmād āṅgirasā jñeyāḥ sarva eva tad-anvayāḥ ||
वसिष्ठ उवाच—शिखी ज्वालाकिरीटः देवोऽग्निर् अंगिरसं पुत्रत्वेन जग्राह; तस्माद् अंगिरसः सर्वे तदन्वयाः अग्निवंश्या इति ज्ञेयाः, वारुणसंज्ञया चापि।
