Educational Q&A

This line functions as a colophon marking the completion of a chapter within the Dānadharma section; it frames the preceding material as instruction on the dharma of giving, guided by discernment (mati) and ethical judgment.

Bhīṣma’s discourse reaches the end of a chapter that presented a dialogue between Indra and Matijña; the text formally closes that unit by naming the parva/section and the chapter number.
