Educational Q&A

Bhishma teaches that steady, supreme devotion expressed through continual reverence for the sacred Gaṅgā leads to the highest siddhi—an elevated spiritual fulfillment and auspicious success grounded in dharma.

In the Anuśāsana Parva, Bhishma is instructing the son of Kuntī on dharmic conduct and meritorious observances; here he specifically urges ongoing worship/approach to Gaṅgā as a powerful, sanctifying practice that yields the best outcome.
