प्रतर्दनो दिवोदास: सुदास: कोसलेश्वर: । ऐलो नलश्न राजर्षिमिनुश्चैव प्रजापति:
pratardano divodāsaḥ sudāsaḥ kosaleśvaraḥ | ailo nalaś ca rājarṣir manuś caiva prajāpatiḥ ||
भीष्म उवाच—शृणु राजर्षीणां नामानि भूयः—प्रतर्दनो दिवोदासः सुदासः कोसलेश्वरः । ऐलः (पुरूरवाः) नलश्च राजर्षिर्मनुश्चैव प्रजापतिः ॥ एते चान्ये च पुराणप्रसिद्धाः पुण्यात्मानो नृपाः स्मरणीयाः। यः प्रतिदिनं प्रातःस्नानशुद्धः प्रातःसायं चैतानि नामानि पठति, स धर्मफलभाग् भवति ॥
