ऋषिरुग्रश्नवाश्वैव भार्गवश्ष्यवनस्तथा । अब जो उत्तर दिशाका आश्रय लेकर अपनी उन्नति करते हैं
ṛṣir ugraśravāś caiva bhārgavaś cyavanas tathā |
भीष्म उवाच—उत्तरदिशमाश्रित्य ये ऋषयः सिद्धिमवाप्नुवन्ति, तेषां नामानि शृणु—अत्रिर्वसिष्ठः शक्तिः पराशरनन्दनः शक्तिमान् व्यासः, विश्वामित्रो भरद्वाजः, ऋचीकपुत्रो जमदग्निः, परशुरामः, उद्दालकपुत्रः श्वेतकेतुः, कोहलः, विपुलो देवलो देवशर्मा, धौम्यः, हस्तिकाश्यपः, लोमशो नाचिकेताः, लोमहर्षणः, उग्रश्रवा ऋषिः, भृगुनन्दनश्च्यवनश्च।
