Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | prayatnaṃ kṛtavanto 'pi dṛśyante hy aphalā narāḥ | mārgatyāyaśatair arthān amārgaś cāparaḥ sukhī ||

प्रयत्नं कृतवन्तोऽपि दृश्यन्ते ह्यफला नराः। मार्गैः शतैरर्थान् मार्गन्तेऽन्यः कुमार्गश्चापरः सुखी॥
