adya bṛhadyottaraṃ lokaṃ kariṣye kṣatriyottaram | na hi me saṃyuge kaścit soḍhum utsahate balam ||
The verse highlights the ethical danger of letting martial excellence turn into arrogance and social domination. It implicitly invites reflection on dharma: true Kshatriya duty is protection and righteous restraint, not the pursuit of superiority for its own sake.
Arjuna declares that he will establish the pre-eminence of the Kshatriyas and boasts that no opponent in battle can withstand his strength, expressing a forceful resolve and confidence in his prowess.
