नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

यथा सिद्धस्य चान्नस्य ग्रहायाग्रं प्रदीयते | बलयश्न गृहोद्देशे अतः प्रीयन्ति देवता:,जैसे तैयार हुई रसोईमेंसे पहले अतिथिको भोजन दिया जाता है, उसी प्रकार घरमें देवताओंके लिये अन्नकी बलि दी जाती है। जिससे देवते प्रसन्न होते हैं
yathā siddhasya cānnasya grahāyāgraṃ pradīyate | balayaś ca gṛhodddeśe ataḥ prīyanti devatāḥ ||
यथा सिद्धस्य चान्नस्य ग्रहायाग्रं प्रदीयते। बलिर्हि गृहोद्देशे देवतानां विधीयते॥ ततः प्रीयन्ति देवताः॥
