सांख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वे ऋषि वेद और अथर्ववेदके परिनिष्छित विद्वान् हो गये। कल्पप्रयोग और ज्योतिषयमें भी पारंगत हुए। सांख्यमें भी उनका परम अनुराग बढ़ने लगा
sāṅkhye caiva parā prītis tasya caivaṃ vyavardhata |
साङ्ख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वेदवेदाङ्गविद्याभिश्च स ऋषिर्विद्वान् परिनिष्ठितः । कल्पप्रयोगे ज्योतिषि च पारङ्गतोऽभवत्, साङ्ख्ये चास्य परम अनुरागोऽभिववर्ध ॥
