वैशम्पायन उवाच
Legitimate authority (tejas) paired with inner freedom from agitation (vigatajvara) sustains social order: when rulers are composed and disciplined, their very presence restrains rival powers and stabilizes the realm.
Vaiśampāyana reports that the Pāṇḍavas are living contentedly and without worry, while their influence and radiance effectively keep other kings in check, indicating a period of secure residence and recognized supremacy.
