Там она была украшена зонт-чатрой, сияющим, как луна, добытым для неё; и её сопровождали толпы женщин, чьи кончики пальцев были заняты держанием чамар (cāmara), служа ей в почтении.

It portrays the outward signs of reverence—parasol and cāmaras—as symbols of inner bhakti, reminding the devotee that honoring the divine presence with humility supports grace and spiritual upliftment under Shiva’s lordship.
Such ceremonial service reflects Saguna-bhakti—devotion to Shiva manifest with attributes—where offerings and respectful attendance train the mind toward steadiness and purity, which in turn supports deeper contemplation of Shiva beyond form.
It suggests sevā (devotional service) as practice—offering respectful upacāras (honors) while mentally repeating the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating attentive, ego-free worship.
