The Manifestation of Shiva as Dvijeśvara
satyuvāca | candrāṃgado mama pitā mātā sīmantinī ca me | tayoryāce mahādeva tvatpāśve sannidhiṃ mudā

It highlights bhakti expressed as a request for “sannidhi” (nearness) to Śiva—showing that liberation and blessing arise primarily through the Lord’s grace and proximity to Pati, not merely worldly merit.
Seeking “tvatpārśve sannidhi” aligns with Saguna worship—approaching Śiva as the compassionate Lord who grants access to His presence; Linga-worship similarly centers on abiding in Śiva’s sannidhi through devotion and reverence.
A practical takeaway is daily Śiva-bhakti—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with the intention of attaining Śiva-sannidhi, supported by simple Śiva-pūjā (water/abhisheka) and remembrance.
